LONDON, July 4 (Saria News): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has criticized the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari for not responding to his telephone calls.
In a statement from London, Altaf Hussain said, “Sindh province is burning and MQM workers are being treated as ‘wartime prisoners’ however, attitude of Qaim Ali Shah and Asif Zardari is disappointing.”
Altaf Hussain said he telephoned Sindh CM over the arrests of MQM workers by Rangers, but the later did not listen him.
MQM chief went on to say that he also called Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai several times but he was not responded.
Altaf Hussain alleged that Rangers have made entire Sindh province an “occupied territory” but the attitude of Sindh CM and PPP Co-Chairman was disappointing.
Meanwhile, CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah refuted the claims of Altaf Hussain, saying that that he left meeting and went to speak to Altaf Hussain however, the latter was very emotional and hung up the phone midway the conversation. –Saria
